AFCS Week 4 Friday Injury Report – NFL
Here is the final updates for the AFCS Week 4 Friday Injury Report.
Texans (0-3) vs Colts (1-2) 1:00 CBS
Houston is looking better than they did a week ago and this is the time they need these players because 0-4 removes any chance of backing into the play-offs. From a Jag’s perspective, the Texans winning helps them down the road.
As far as the Colts, they’re the walking dead. The Texans could win just because they can dress more healthy bodies.
Eagles (2-1) vs Titans (2-1) 1:00 FOX
Three running backs all dealing with injuries. The Eagles say Ajayi can play through his broken vertebrae, hope they’re right.
Titans better hope Mariota can play all game because the QB they signed this week has no regular season snaps.
Jets (1-2) vs Jaguars (2-1) 1:00 FOX
Jets fans are happy they may get to see rookie Maye play. Having Pryor a Full will also give them hope.
This list looks better (we hope) than it did last week when Blake Bortles was without Leonard Fournette and three of his offensive linemen. Worst case is he has Parnell and Linder, best case is them and Cann. Cam Robinson was lost week one, so the Jags need everyone. In addition, Yeldon was upgraded.
However, Fridays are walk-throughs and therefore Thursday reports tend to give a better idea of where players are in their recoveries when they’re in pads and having contact. During open viewing time, Leo was dancing, and looked good. Yeldon didn’t do full cuts, but if he can just catch the ball out of the backfield, he can save his juke moves.
